Daryl Suehiro | PRESIDENT

As President of DSE, Daryl is responsible for the company’s business development and works with general contractors, building owners, property management companies, architects and engineers. Daryl is also responsible for financial positioning, bonding and insurance requirements for all projects. Although he is in tune with all aspects of the day-to-day operations, he relies on his management team to carry out their respective responsibilities. Daryl has over 40 years of electrical construction experience and is currently the RME for DSE. He currently serves as President of the Electrical Contractors Association of Hawaii (2015-2016, Present), trustee for several trust fund accounts for the 1186 IBEW and as an industry member on the Contractors License Board until 2016.
Keith Suehiro | VICE PRESIDENT/ FIELD OPERATIONS

As Vice President of DSE, Keith is the overall field superintendent responsible for production. His duties include scheduling of labor, materials logistics, vehicles, equipment, tool procurement and maintenance. Keith is the liaison between the field and management which also requires him to meet with general contractors, property owners, property management, architects and engineers. He has over 20 years of electrical construction experience and is currently an additional RME to DSE.
Jodi-Ann Suehiro | SECRETARY/ TREASURER

As Secretary/Treasurer of DSE, Jodi’s responsibilities include handling of payroll, accounts payable, union reports, billings and customer service. She graduated from the Travel Institute of Hawaii as a Travel Agent and attended Cannon’s Business College as a Legal/Executive Secretary. She has worked for Law Offices, Insurance Companies as a Senior Customer Service Representative, Aloha Airlines and for a CPA firm.
Jobelle Kamealoha | PROJECT MANAGER

As a project manager, Jobelle's main responsibilities include assisting with project estimating/bidding and project management at all levels. This includes RFP’s, RFI’s, clarifications, submittals, project close-outs, change orders, and program administration. Jobelle attended Honolulu Community College with a specialty in Communication Arts. Jobelle joined DSE in 2017 and was previously employed by the Queen’s Medical Center with four years of experience in Hospital Administration and Human Resources. Jobelle also comes with a background in Banking and Finance where she worked at Bank of Hawaii for five years.
Kell Miyamoto | PROJECT OPERATIONS MANAGER

As project operations manager at DSE, Kell’s main responsibilities include overseeing daily project operations at every level, assisting with estimating, project engineering/management, contract billing and implementation of various contract documents and responsibilities. This also includes reviewing and assisting with RFI’s, ASI’s, clarifications, submittals, shop drawings, change orders and project close-out documents as well as assisting the field foremen with their day-to-day needs. Kell’s other areas of responsibilities include overseeing the HVAC/low voltage controls division which was started up in 2009. He reviews and assists with the estimating and project engineering/management. Kell joined the management team in 2000 and previously worked as a project manager for a general contractor here in Honolulu since 1995.
Lawrence "Jr." Miyazono | WAREHOUSE MANAGER

As Warehouse Manager, Jr. is responsible for organizing, purchasing and maintaining the inventory of all materials, tools and equipment in the company’s warehouses. His day to day tasks include coordinating the delivery of equipment and stock to the field employees on jobsites, over-seeing and following up on purchase orders for Project Managers, managing the shop personnel and general daily operations at our main headquarters on Sand Island. Jr. has been with DSE for over 9 years and joined the management team in 2019.
Kirk- Jordan "KJ" Nagami | PROJECT MANAGER

KJ joined DSE in 2019 and is a Project Manager in our Power division. He runs all aspects of project management for multiple small to mid-size projects including RFI’s, submittals, change orders, purchasing, budgeting and close-outs. KJ graduated from the University of Hawai’i at West Oahu with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 2017. He previously worked as a secretary assistant at Maryknoll Grade School in the Extended Learning Department.
James "Mika" Pokakaa | FIELD SUPERVISOR - POWER DIVISION

Mika is a field supervisor for the power division at DSE. His main responsibility is scheduling the manpower needed for the duration of a project. His day to day tasks also include reading project plans and schedules, handling field operations, enforcing the company’s safety protocol and quality control, overseeing in‐house prefabrication, and assisting with managing smaller projects. He also assists estimators and project managers when needed. Mika has been a part of DSE for over 20 years starting off as a field worker, later joining the management team in 2016.
Rich Nakamoto | FIELD SUPERVISOR & PROJECT MANAGER - CONTROLS DIVISION

Rich is a Field Supervisor and Project Manager for the low voltage controls division of DSE. His main duties include analyzing and troubleshooting work scope, initiating a plan to complete the project then scheduling and coordinating the work with the Owner and field personnel until the project is complete. Rich is a graduate of Punahou School and has been a part of DSE for over 10 years starting off as a field worker and later joining the management team in 2022.
Stacy Ramos | Bid Coordinator & Administrator

Stacy joined DSE in 2022 as the bid coordinator for both the Power and Controls division. As bid coordinator, she is responsible for obtaining and managing all bid documents, contacting and organizing price quotes from vendors and coordinating site visits with various owners and Contractors. In addition to assisting our estimators, she also supports our project managers and accounting department with various administrative tasks. Stacy has over 20 years of administrative and accounting experience in the construction industry.
Marilyn Tosaki | ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE / COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST

Marilyn is the Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist for DSE. She is responsible for accurately billing and processing invoices and payments, keeping AR aging current which involves making collections calls, researching and answering discrepancies from contractors. Marilyn has over 20 years of accounting experience.
Lexine Valenciano | JR. ESTIMATOR

Lexine started her first 2 years at DSE as the bid coordinator and is currently working as a Jr. Estimator. Her main responsibility is to assist the estimating department with the bid list by using software to compile takeoff. She also reviews vendor quotations and compiles proposals. Lexine has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and certificate in Human Resources from Southern Oregon University. Prior to joining DSE in October of 2019, she has a combined 8 years of experience in the retail, travel, and construction industry.
Merle Walker | PROJECT MANAGER

Merle is a project manager at DSE. His main responsibilities include project management and assisting with project estimation and proposals. This includes project schedules, budgets, resource management, forecasting, planning, RFI’s, change and risk management, sub‐contractor and stakeholder management, project controls, deliverables and project close‐outs. Merle joined the management team in 2017 having previously worked as a Project Manager for a ship building company as well as a Federal contractor specializing in telecommunications projects.
Kathryn Yamauchi | BUSINESS MANAGER

As the business manager of DSE, Kat’s focus is on company productivity and efficiency including implementing operating systems and procedures to enhance employee performances. She works closely with the management team to identify and strategize current and future company goals and strengthen communication both within DSE and with the community.
Although she is one of the newest members of the DSE team, Kat comes with over twenty-five years of management experience in both the legal and construction industries and a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
